Third Transnational Project meeting of VALENCE project held in Kranj, Slovenia

On 18.12.2021, a third transnational meeting within the project “Advancing Machine Learning in Vocational Education – VALENCE” was held. It was organized by School Centre Kranj (SC Kranj) in Slovenia.

The project covers a total of six transnational meetings that take place every six months for the entire duration of the project. The main purpose of the meetings are coordinative activities aimed at monitoring and quality control of the project activities, as well as providing corrective measures. The following topics were discussed at the transnational meeting: administrative and financial arrangements, quality assurance, risk analysis, dissemination activities, and other open issues.

The meeting was officially opened by the director of Kranj School Centre Joze Drenovec. Then he shortly the school structure, main activities, and possibility of cooperation.

Dr. Zivko Kokolanski presented the current status of the project and its administrative and project management activities. Later, there was a fruitful discussion between all the partners in the project where all of the partners have agreed about the next step to be done.

During the transnational meeting a special attention was given to risk prevention and risk management. It was agreed that the Steering Committee will be responsible to facilitate the communication between the project consortium members. In addition, during the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis the external risks (threats) were analyzed, and specific strategies for all potential risks were developed. It was agreed that the steering committee develop a Quality Control Plan and proceed with its implementation based on the QC questionaries’ and the SWOT analyses.
